CELEBRITIES AND INSTAGRAM: A DIGITAL ETHNOGRAPHY ON CHIARA FERRAGNI’S PROFILE
In the “Media and Ethnography” class at the American University of Paris (AUP), I wrote a digital ethnography on Chiara Ferragni’s Instagram profile, analyzing how the Italian influencer portrays femininity on Instagram and the relationship she creates with her followers as a fan community. I focused my attention on her Instagram page during 72 hours of activity and I selected 5 posts for the relevance of the content and the number of comments.
